Service
We supply, engineer, and erect pre-engineered metal buildings for commercial and residential use across all of North and South Carolina.
A pre-engineered metal building uses a structural frame of red-iron (hot-rolled steel) I-beams manufactured to the exact specifications of your project. The components — frame, purlins, girts, panels, and roofing — are engineered off-site and assembled on your property by our licensed erection crew.
Unlike pole barns, which rely on wood posts driven into the ground, or standard metal carports, a true red-iron steel building is engineered to local wind and snow load codes. That means it's built to last, it adds real value to your property, and it appreciates over time rather than deteriorating.
Foothills Building Group handles the entire process: project scoping, engineering submission, foundation coordination, delivery, and full erection — so you're never managing multiple vendors.
Why Red-Iron Steel
Every building is stamped to your site's specific wind and snow load requirements.
Red-iron I-beams hold their shape and strength for decades — no warping, settling, or pests.
No interior columns. The entire floor plan is open — configure it however your use requires.
A properly engineered steel building adds real, lasting value to your property.
Distribution, storage, light industrial, and manufacturing facilities engineered to code.
Hay storage, equipment barns, livestock facilities — durable and efficient.
Clear-span interiors with no interior columns give you complete layout flexibility.
Residential structures with the durability of commercial steel construction.
Personal and commercial workshops built to last decades.
Wide-span structures for aircraft, equipment, and specialty use.
We're called in regularly to fix and complete steel buildings that other erectors got wrong. If you're in that situation, call us — we can assess, rescue, and finish your project.
